Another senior session…

I had another senior session in McMinnville yesterday afternoon.  We hit all the hot spots.  You know, the run down buildings in depot bottom, the dam, and any old pile of rocks or junk I could find that I thought would make a cool backdrop LOL!  I got some GORGEOUS images.

Just look at those EYES!!!!

And we just had to do some in her hat and sunglasses!!!

We had a blast!!

If you are interested in having your senior portraits done by Kindle the Heart, call SOON!  I am already taking appointments into October (don’t worry, I still have a couple openings in August and several in September).  But if you need a specific date, you should call EARLY or you might be out of luck!!!

Squishy Newborn Yumminess!

I simply cannot resist a newborn. I LOVE photographing them. There is just something about the newness–the perfect yummy newness–that is just irresistible. Here is just one from my session in Murfreesboro on Saturday…

He is so perfect and tiny and new.  What’s not to love?

Please remember, when planning your newborn session it is best to photograph baby at around one week of age.  That is when they “curl” the best.  Also they usually will sleep through just about anything at seven days old.  I’ve done some babies that were a bit younger than seven days and a few that were a bit older than seven days and they do great as well.  However, it is best to photograph them before two weeks of age because most babies peel (think peeling sunburn) around 2 1/2 to 3 weeks of age.  Makes for a very yucky portrait!

Also, it helps me a LOT if you can call me 4-6 weeks before you deliver to let me know that you would like a newborn portrait session.  That way I can build some “fluff” into my schedule so I won’t be so over booked that it is difficult for me to work in your newborn in a timely manner.

Since you asked…

How can I resist posting a few more???  :)

I have a thing for “not so smiley” images, but who could resist THAT smile?!?!?

My first 2009 senior!

I had the honor of photographing my first 2009 senior this afternoon.  She just happens to be my niece.  Isn’t she beautiful?!?!?!?  When I asked her to put her hands up to her face, she giggled and said, “I feel like I’m five.”  Honey, you don’t LOOK like you’re five!  You are GORGEOUS!!!  I can’t wait for you to see the rest!
